In a bizarre collaboration that challenges conventional expectations, the game developer has revealed an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.

According to the authorized announcement, "A mysterious confrontation pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where whispers of forbidden practices and fearsome changes resonate through the obscurity." The plot features a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a hidden group.
The questline focuses on "peculiar tests and a monstrous enemy" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Locations and Transformations
The preview showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer ends with a powerful scene showing a character, probably the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who accomplish the mission will receive an unique katana together with numerous items secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, including:
